1.    Can the Titan Cameras be IP?
a.    Yes, the Titan cameras have an optional ACTI onboard IP interface


2.    Can the Titan Cameras be wireless?
a.    Yes, the titan camera must have the optional IP interface module in conjunction with the wireless kit.


3.    Can the Titan Cambers be Megapixel?
a.    Yes, but by adding the megapixel option, no zoom control will be possible.  Only pan and tilt.  The transmission of the megapixel image will also require the IP interface module.


4.    What is the availability of the titan camera?
a.    The Titan cameras are made to order.  With so many different options and interfaces we cannot stock all models.  Availability also depends on the quanity.  Delivery for standard orders is  4 – 6 weeks .


5.    What are the dimensions and weight?
a.    8 inches wide, 14 inches tall
b.    Weight: Aluminum Alloy: 25LBS    Stainless Steel: 40 LBS


6.    What is the power consumption?
a.     Input voltage: AC 24V 1.5amp


7.    What is the power consumption with lasers on?
a.     AC 24V 2.5 amp

9.    What Ratings do the Titan Cameras have?
a.    IP66 / NEMA 4x / FCC / CE / MA / ROHS / Exd II CT6

 

10.    What does intrinsically safe mean?
a.    An instrument which will not produce any spark or thermal effects under normal or abnormal conditions that will ignite a specified gas mixture.

 

11.    What does explosion proof mean?
a.    "explosion-proof apparatus": "Apparatus enclosed in a case that is capable of withstanding an explosion of a specific gas or vapor that may occur within it and of preventing the ignition of a specified gas or vapor surrounding the enclosure by sparks, flashes, or explosion of the gas or vapor within, and that operates at such an external temperature that a surrounding flammable atmosphere will not be ignited thereby."

 

12.    What are my mounting options?
a.    The Titan Is designed to mount flush.
b.     When flush mounting is not possible; Wall, Corner, and Pole mounts are available in Stainless Steel

 

13.    What protocols do the cameras use?
a.    We use Pelco P and Pelco D over RS485.

 

14.    How do I control the camera?
a.    Through PTZ software on a DVR or through a PTZ controller.

 

15.    Will the Titan Camera mount on a vehicle?
a.    Yes, the Titan is designed to apply higher voltage to strengthen the gears so it can be installed in atmospheres such as vehicles.

 

16.    What is the MTBF?
a.    15,000 Hours (continuous use Pan / Tilt use)
b.    100,000 Hours (non-continuous Pan Tilt use)

 

17.    How far can I run the power supply from the PTZ?
a.    300 ft on a normal 24v ac power supply. With 28V AC power supply and higher gage wire, longer runs can be achieved.
